Chamba — As part of the ongoing International Minjar Mela 2025, a grand inauguration of the district-level pool and snooker tournament was held today at the Chamba District Police Headquarters.ASP Shivani Mehla graced the occasion as chief guest and ceremonially played the first shot to mark the official opening of the tournament.
In her address, ASP Mehla emphasized that sports are not merely a source of entertainment but a powerful medium to instill discipline, confidence, and leadership among youth. She congratulated the organizing committee and highlighted how such events help steer young minds away from substance abuse and toward a positive path.
