Tribute Paid to Freedom Fighter Sardar Ajit Singh on His Birth Anniversary at Dalhousie

On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Sardar Ajit Singh, uncle of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, members of the Deshbhakt Ajit Singh Memorial Sabha Dalhousie paid floral tribute at his memorial site in Panchpula.

The ceremony was led by Sabha member Dheeraj Gupta, who garlanded the statue of Sardar Ajit Singh. Other members of the Sabha, along with visiting tourists, also offered flowers at the memorial.

The atmosphere was filled with patriotic fervor as songs such as “Pagdi Sambhal Jatta” and other nationalistic melodies were sung during the program.

Speaking on the occasion, Dheeraj Gupta recalled that Sardar Ajit Singh had inspired people with the slogan “Pagdi Sambhal Jatta”, awakening a spirit of self-respect and nationalism among the masses.
