“Yoga for Healthy Age”

On the occasion of the 12th International Yoga Day, the AYUSH Department, Himachal Pradesh, organised a special yoga camp at the historic Chaurasi Temple complex in Bharmour. This year’s theme was “Yoga for Healthy Age.”
Dr. Rajesh Kumar, SDAMO Bharmour, informed that officials and employees from various departments, representatives of Gram Panchayat Bharmaur, principals, teachers, and students from Government Senior Secondary School Bharmaur and DAV Public School actively participated in the camp.
He emphasized that yoga is not merely physical exercise but a holistic method for leading a healthy and balanced life. Regular practice of yoga not only keeps the body fit but also helps in relieving mental stress. The camp was organized with the aim of spreading awareness about yoga among the community.
Dr. Kumar further highlighted that yoga is India’s ancient heritage, now embraced worldwide, and urged everyone to make yoga a part of their daily routine.
The programme, held under the aegis of the AYUSH Department Bharmour, witnessed enthusiastic participation from people across different sections of society, making it a successful and inspiring event.
