A seven-day National Service Scheme (NSS) camp was inaugurated today at Government Model Senior Secondary School, Indora.
On the occasion, Acting Principal Satender Paul informed the media that 50 students from the school are participating in the camp under the guidance of NSS Programme Officers Mrs. Rekha Katoch and Mr. Kamaljeet.
The camp, scheduled from November 22 to November 28, will focus on developing students’ skills in career counseling, road safety, environmental protection and leadership capacity.
On the first day, Mr. Balkar Singh addressed the students, providing detailed awareness about tobacco prohibition. The inaugural day also featured a cultural programme presented by the students, adding vibrancy to the event.
