Rose Public School, Sulyali reverberated with devotion and joy as students and staff celebrated the auspicious festival of Shri Krishna Janmashtami with great enthusiasm and reverence. The celebration commenced in the gracious presence of Principal Shri Sanjay Sharma Souguni and Vice-Principal Smt. Babita Souguni, along with the entire teaching faculty.
The little ones from Nursery, JKG, SKG, and Class I stole the show with delightful performances depicting the birth and childhood leelas of Lord Krishna. Dressed as Krishna and Radha, the children mesmerized the audience with their innocence and charm.
Students also staged a captivating play on Krishna and Sudama’s eternal friendship, spreading the message of true companionship, love, equality, and selflessness. Another highlight was the enactment of Vasudev carrying baby Krishna to Gokul, beautifully presented by the young performers.
The school premises echoed with chants of devotion, filling the atmosphere with spirituality, joy, and cultural pride. Senior students applauded the talent of their juniors, appreciating the creativity and dedication displayed in the performances.
In his concluding address, Principal Shri Sanjay Sharma Souguni, along with Vice-Principal Smt. Babita Souguni, extended heartfelt Janmashtami greetings to students, parents, and the community. They lauded the children’s efforts and emphasized the importance of imbibing Lord Krishna’s teachings of love, truth, and righteousness in daily life.
