Red Cross Fair Brings Festive Spirit to Dalhousie

The Dalhousie branch of the District Red Cross Society hosted a vibrant Red Cross Fair today, inaugurated by Chamba Deputy Commissioner Mukesh Repswal, who graced the occasion as the chief guest.

Dr. Captain G.S. Dhillon, Chairman of Dalhousie Public School, extended a warm floral welcome to the Deputy Commissioner upon his arrival.

The fair saw enthusiastic participation from local dignitaries and schoolchildren across Dalhousie. A variety of food and activity stalls were set up, showcasing community spirit and creativity. Deputy Commissioner Repswal visited each stall, appreciating the efforts and presenting mementoes to stallholders in recognition of their contributions.

Adding to the festive cheer, the event featured a lively game of tambola, a delightful dog show, and an adorable baby show. The chief guest felicitated the winners of both shows with prizes and accolades.

SDM Dalhousie Anil Bhardwaj and Tehsildar Ramesh Chauhan also honored the Deputy Commissioner with a commemorative memento.

Prominent attendees included SDM Anil Bhardwaj, Tehsildar Ramesh Chauhan, Dr. Captain G.S. Dhillon of Dalhousie Public School, Principal Navdeep Bhandari of Guru Nanak Public School, DSP Mayank Sharma, and SHO Jagbir Singh of Dalhousie Police.
