On the occasion of International Yoga Day, Paras Public School organized a grand yoga programme in its campus, bringing together students, teachers, and management in a spirit of health and harmony.
The event was graced by School Director Mahesh Chandra Katoch and Principal Neelam Rana, who joined the faculty and students in performing yoga. Under the guidance of yoga instructor Anshu Sharma, participants practiced Tadasana, Vrikshasana, Bhujangasana, Vajrasana, and breathing exercises including Pranayama and Anulom-Vilom. The session emphasized the mantra “Do Yoga, Stay Healthy.”
In her address, Principal Neelam Rana highlighted yoga as an invaluable treasure of Indian culture, beneficial for physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. Teacher Renu Sharma delivered a speech on the importance of yoga, inspiring everyone to adopt it as a regular practice for a healthy lifestyle.
The successful programme not only raised awareness about yoga among students but also reinforced the message of living a balanced and healthy life.
