Continuing its Zero Tolerance Against Drugs policy, the CIA Nurpur team has struck another blow against narcotics networks. Acting swiftly on credible intelligence, police apprehended a notorious supplier near Kandwal with a significant quantity of heroin.

Accused Identified: The arrested individual has been identified as Anil Sharma (48), son of Ramesh Sharma, resident of House No. 23, Kali Ghanupur Shiharta, District Amritsar, Punjab.

Operation Details: The police team intercepted the suspect near Nagni Mata Temple service road. Following due legal procedure and transparency, a search was conducted, leading to the recovery of 15.18 grams of heroin (chitta) from his possession. The accused was arrested on the spot.

Next Steps: The seized contraband has been taken into custody, and a case has been registered against the accused. Intensive interrogation and further investigation are underway to trace the roots of this illegal trade and expose its main suppliers.
