Dr. Anjali Garg has officially assumed charge as the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) of Kangra. The outgoing SDM, Ishant Jaswal, took charge today as Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Una and extended his best wishes to Dr. Garg on her new responsibility.
After assuming office, Dr. Garg visited the historic Vajreshwari Temple to seek blessings. She offered prayers, and senior priest performed the rituals. Kangra Tehsildar Prakash Chand accompanied her during the visit.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Garg stated that she will focus on identifying and addressing the key issues of Kangra. She is a 2023 batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the Himachal Pradesh cadre.
