The Hair & Beauty Federation India (HBF India) marked August 11 as National Salon Day, under the theme “Our Unity • Our Identity • Our Responsibility.”
The day is not only a celebration of the salon industry but also a collective effort to build a stronger, safer, cleaner, hygienic, organized, and professional salon and beauty sector across the country.
HBF India emphasized its commitment to supporting small and medium-sized salon owners by providing them with awareness, guidance, training, and a platform for growth. The Federation believes that every salon—whether small or large—deserves respect, equal opportunities, and proper professional guidance.
The initiative highlights that salons today are more than beauty service centers; they are part of an important service sector linked to customer safety, hygiene, trust, and professional standards. Every salon owner carries the responsibility to maintain cleanliness, safety practices, quality products, and professional services.
Going forward, HBF India will intensify its efforts through awareness campaigns, training, skill development, and professional guidance, aiming to uplift the entire salon and beauty industry.
