A shocking incident from Chamba district, Himachal Pradesh has left the region in deep distress. Allegations have surfaced that a father threw his six-year-old son into the swollen Ravi River.
According to reports, the accused father, Hitesh Kumar, surrendered to the police the following morning after the incident. In response, police teams led by Additional Superintendent of Police Dinesh Sharma launched a large-scale search operation along the Ravi River, with the help of divers and local residents.
The strong current and rising water levels have posed a major challenge for the rescue teams. Despite intensive efforts, no trace of the child has been found so far.
