On the occasion of National Panchayati Raj Day, students of DAV Public School, Gohju organized an engaging and thought-provoking debate on the topic “Whether Democracy is a Better Form of Government or Not.”
Participants confidently presented the merits and demerits of democracy, showcasing their awareness, analytical skills, and critical thinking. Their enthusiastic contributions made the debate lively and insightful. The students collectively concluded that while democracy has certain limitations, it remains the most accountable, legitimate, and responsible form of government compared to others.
Principal Mr. Vishal Katoch appreciated the efforts of the students and highlighted the key features of the Panchayati Raj system, emphasizing its vital role in strengthening grassroots democracy in India.
