During a press conference in Dharamshala, D.G.M. K.G. Sharma of National Insurance Company, Regional Office Chandigarh, revealed that a significant milestone is approaching as the 20th anniversary of the collaboration with Kangra Central Cooperative Bank Limited is being celebrated. Sharma stated that in the coming years, this partnership is expected to strengthen further.
Highlighting future plans, I.R.D.A. has set a target to ensure insurance coverage for everyone by 2047, as disclosed by Sharma. All companies are urged to play a crucial role in achieving this goal. Additionally, Bima Sugam, an online platform, is set to launch, allowing companies, agents, banks, and insurance partners to enroll seamlessly.
Officials and staff from both institutions will engage in reciprocal visits to strengthen collaboration. Sharad from C.C.C.B. mentioned that a meeting was held in the morning under the chairmanship of the bank’s chairman, covering various topics, with the presence of Vikram, officials, and other attendees.
