The McLeodganj unit of the Himachal Pradesh Police has arrested four associates of the contract *killer Harpreet Happo gang from a hotel in the tourist town.
Those arrested were involved in a target killing in Punjab city Mohali. They were wanted in connection with a *murder case registered on February 1, 2025, at Kharar-City police station in Mohali.
After committing the crime, they were hiding in Dharamshala and McLeodganj, said a police official.
Acting on a tip-off from the Punjab Police, the accused were arrested from McLeodganj. The authorities also recovered two country-made pistols, 10 live cartridges and two magazines. The vehicle they used to escape from Mohali was also seized from Dharamshala.
The four accused have been handed over to the Punjab Police’s Anti-Gangster Task Force for further investigation.
