Nurpur Police have successfully arrested a proclaimed offender in connection with an old case registered at Indora Police Station.

The case pertains to FIR No. 152/2012 dated 23.05.2012, under Section 379 IPC and Sections 41, 42 of the Indian Forest Act, Police Station Indora, District Kangra. The accused, Sukhwinder Singh, son of Tarsem Singh, resident of village Mand Sanoar, Post Office Sanoar, Tehsil Indora, District Kangra (HP), aged about 43 years, had earlier been declared a proclaimed offender by the Hon’ble Court.
On 07.03.2026, a team of Nurpur Police carried out the operation and arrested the proclaimed offender.
Nurpur Police District continues to take strict action against absconding accused and proclaimed offenders.
