Kangra — Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Kangra, proudly hosted the Maharishi Regional Cultural Festival 2025, a vibrant three-day celebration of talent, tradition, and education. The event, organised under the Kurukshetra region, brought together students from across the area to showcase their artistic and cultural prowess.
The festival was inaugurated by SDM Kangra, Ishant Jaswal, who cut the ceremonial ribbon and lit the lamp before the idol of Goddess Saraswati, accompanied by traditional Vedic chants. He was joined by National representative, additional director of finance department, MVM Schools Shri Manish sinha, who attended as the special guest.
School Principal Kumari Pooja Sharma, along with staff members, extended a floral welcome to the dignitaries. In her address, she emphasised the school’s commitment to holistic education—blending academics, culture, and spirituality—and praised the festival for offering students a platform to express themselves and engage with peers.
The event featured a rich array of cultural performances, including classical and folk music, dance, and visual arts, reflecting the region’s heritage and the students’ creativity.
