As part of the ongoing anti‑drug campaign, the Gaggal Police team visited Gram Panchayat Gaggal and held a meeting with members of the local Nasha Nivaran (Drug Prevention) Committee. The session was led by Gaggal SHO Udhamsingh Rajput.
During the meeting, police officials highlighted the harmful effects of substances like chitta and other narcotics, stressing their negative impact on individuals and society. The team urged committee members to remain vigilant at the local level and promptly report any suspicious activities to the police.
Police appealed to the committee to gather information on drug‑related activities in their area and share it with law enforcement. Committee members assured full cooperation and pledged to support the police in curbing the menace.
In a joint resolution, police and panchayat representatives committed to working together to make Gaggal Panchayat drug‑free. Present on the occasion were Panchayat Pradhan Damini, Deputy Pradhan Ravind Baba, and other local representatives.
