Gaggal (Kangra): Continuous rainfall since last night has led to severe waterlogging on the Gaggal–Dharamshala road. In front of Union Bank, the overflowing drain spilled into nearby shops and houses, causing distress among residents and shopkeepers.
Locals reported that the monsoon has only just begun, yet the lack of proper drainage has already created serious problems. Concerned citizens have urged the administration and the local panchayat to ensure timely cleaning and maintenance of drains before the peak monsoon season. They fear that heavier rains could bring even greater difficulties if preventive measures are not taken.
