Kangra district witnessed an important meeting today attended by Himachal Pradesh in-charge Shesh Narayan Ojha, Devendra Jaggi, District President Sunil Viku Bhardwaj, District Coordinator Chandramani Kulethi, and Bitthal Bhardwaj.
The central focus of the discussion was the Indo-US Trade Deal. Speakers expressed deep concern that the agreement could cause severe economic losses to farmers in Himachal Pradesh, particularly apple growers.
Leaders warned that if such decisions are not reconsidered in time, the state’s agricultural economy could face direct and negative consequences.
The meeting concluded with a unanimous resolution to intensify the struggle for farmers’ rights and to take this issue to the masses.
