A grand and emotional farewell ceremony was organised for the students of Class XII at Himalayan Public Senior Secondary School. The event was enthusiastically planned and executed by the students of Class XI with great dedication, in the presence of all teachers and students of the school.

The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by School Director Anurag Gupta, Principal Sapna Dogra, and the teaching staff. The students of Class XI presented a welcome dance to honor the guests and teachers. The event was skillfully anchored by Divyansh Patial and Shivanshu of Class XI.

On this special occasion, the students of Class XI presented vibrant cultural performances in honor of their seniors. Mesmerizing dances, skits, and songs captivated the audience. The farewell song, in particular, emotionally portrayed the journey of the Class XII students, leaving everyone deeply moved. Various fun games were also organized for the senior students. Lunch arrangements were made for both students and teachers during the intermission.

Afterwards, the students of Class XII took to the stage to share their experiences and express their heartfelt gratitude towards their teachers. In their emotional words, they shared that the school where they once arrived in tears after leaving their families has now become dearer to them than their own home.

As part of the ceremony, Antakshari and a quiz competition were organized for the teachers, followed by students presenting gifts to honor them. The judging panel included Anu Sharma and Monika Trehan, who evaluated the participants.

Based on talent and overall performance, the following titles were awarded to the Class XII students:

“Mr. Himalyan” – Shaswat

“Miss Himalyan” – Vanshika

“Best Male Student of the Year” – Aneesh Pathania

“Best Female Student of the Year” – Anandi

“Miss Personality” – Shaina

“Mr. Personality” – Vihaan

The selected students were honored by School Director Anurag Gupta, who extended his best wishes and blessings for their bright future.

The entire atmosphere of the programme was filled with joy, enthusiasm, and heartfelt emotions. This farewell ceremony will remain a cherished memory, forever engraved in the hearts of the students.
