MANDI: Himachal Pradesh PWD Minister Vikramaditya Singh has strongly reacted to a post by Pakistan’s leading newspaper Dawn, which termed India’s move to potentially block river water as an “act of war”.
Vikramaditya’s sharp response, posted on social media, has gone viral.
“Pakistan as a nation will cease to exist very soon and it will be because of your incompetent leadership, flawed economic policies and the debt trap of the IMF. While the ISRO is sending missions to space, Pakistan is sending terrorists to every country — it has become the global factory of terror,” Vikramaditya wrote in his statement.
Post triggers widespread discussion
His post has triggered widespread discussion and has been widely shared across digital platforms.
Addressing growing concerns over communal tension in India, Vikramaditya said: “Yes, there have been targeted attacks on Hindus — the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits and the repeated assaults on Amarnath pilgrims are facts. But venting that anger on Indian Muslims is unjustified and dangerous. That’s exactly what the terrorists want.”

Says targeting Indian Muslims a wrong practice
Calling for national unity, he said: “Hindus are not so weak that they need to turn against fellow citizens. That would be a victory for terrorism. Our fight is against cross-border terror and we must face it together — as 140 crore Indians.”
Vikramaditya’s remarks have received strong support online, with hashtags like #IndiaUnited and #VikramadityaSingh trending. Many users have called his statement a timely reminder of unity and clarity amid rising tensions.
