Shimla: The Himachal Pradesh Board of Education has decided to cancel and re-valuate the Plus Two English examination after an error in processing the answer key led to discrepancies in results.
Board Secretary Vishal Sharma clarified that only the English paper for Plus Two students will be affected. The issue originated in the Chuvadi area of Chamba district, where the English paper had been previously re-conducted. However, during the computer processing phase, the old answer key was mistakenly uploaded instead of the revised one.
“This was not a system error but a human mistake,” Sharma stated in a press conference, adding that the board decided to take corrective action to prevent confusion among students and the public.
Students are advised to stay updated through official board notifications.
