The people of Himachal Pradesh residing in Maharashtra capital Mumbai have officially established a new association, ‘Shiv Shakti Parivar Himachal Pradesh’, by signing an Agreement of Association of Persons (AOP).
The primary aim of the association is to organise the grand ‘Shiv Nuala’ in Mumbai. It is a sacred ritual dedicated to Lord Shiva, expressing gratitude and seeking divine blessings. The organisation is committed to preserving cultural and religious values while fostering unity among devotees.
Association appoints office-bearers
The association has appointed office-bearers to spearhead its initiatives. Rajinder K Kapoor will be the association president, Veena Sippy vice-president, Sanjay Kapoor secretary, Jograj Kapoor treasurer, Chokkas Bhaardwaj chief patron and Dushyant Pahl social media incharge & convener.

Additionally, a distinguished advisory panel has been formed, comprising Captain Somraj, Hukam Singh, Avtar Singh, Kamlesh Kapoor, Dr Rupali Kapoor and Love Kapoor.
Cultural and spiritual initiative
Speaking on the formation of the association, Rajinder Kapoor emphasised that its primary objective was to bring together devotees and cultural enthusiasts to celebrate and promote the rich tradition of Shiv Nuala beyond Himachal Pradesh.
The event symbolises faith, devotion and spiritual unity, serving as a cultural bridge for the Himachali community residing in Mumbai.
Preserving tradition and community bonding
With a strong leadership team and a dedicated advisory board, Shiv Shakti Parivar Himachal Pradesh is set to make a significant impact in organising religious and cultural events.
The association aims to foster harmony and preserve traditional values while strengthening the connection between Himachali culture and the wider community in Mumbai, said the office-bearers in a statement.
