Dharamshala: The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) will declare the Class 12 board examination results for the academic session 2024-25 around noon on Saturday (May 17, 2025).
The results will be available on the board’s official website and other authorised portals.
Confirming the development to The Newz Radar, HPBOSE Secretary Dr (Major) Vishal Sharma said the board was fully prepared to publish the results today. “The compilation and verification work has been completed. Students can check their results online shortly,” he said.
The Class 10 results were declared two days ago on May 15, showing a significant improvement in pass percentage and strong performance by girls. In contrast to last year, when Class 12 results were declared before Class 10, this year the order has been reversed.
Class 12 exams concluded on March 28
The Class 12 board exams were conducted across Himachal Pradesh from early March and concluded on March 28, 2025. Over 85,000 students appeared for the exams held at thousands of centres across the state, including in remote areas like Lahaul-Spiti and Pangi.
According to officials, the evaluation process for Class 12 was completed by May 8 and the board spent the subsequent days compiling and verifying marks, merit lists and compartment data.
Students advised to keep roll numbers ready
Students are advised to keep their roll numbers handy to check their results without delay. Apart from the HPBOSE website, results may also be accessible at third-party platforms, depending on availability.
In 2024, girls led across all streams
Last year, HPBOSE declared the Class 12 results on April 29, 2024, with 63,092 students passing out of the 85,777 who appeared. Girls outshone boys in all streams, continuing a trend of academic excellence.
