Government Senior Secondary School, Garola celebrated Grandparents’ Day with great joy and warmth. The event created an atmosphere of affection and respect, as students expressed their love and gratitude towards their grandparents through songs, dances, poems, and other cultural performances.
The program was graced by Surjit Kumar, President of the School Management Committee, as the Chief Guest, and Pawan Sharma, former BDC member of Garola Ulansa Panchayat, as the Special Guest. In their addresses, the guests inspired students to imbibe the values, experiences, and blessings of elders in their lives.
A poetry competition was also held, in which Tarun Sharma secured first place, Aditi second, and Tamanna third. All winners were honored by the school family.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks, where parents and grandparents appreciated the initiative, describing it as both successful and memorable.
