The Dalhousie Municipal Council convened its general meeting today under the chairmanship of President Mrs. Vandana Chadda. Vice President Mrs. Reena Jaryal and all newly elected members participated in the session.
Key Highlights of the Meeting:
- Review of Vision Dalhousie 2025: Chief Executive Officer Mrs. Rakhi Kaushal presented a detailed report on 25 development projects planned under the Vision Dalhousie 2025 initiative.
- Financial Status: The CEO also briefed the council on the current financial position of the Municipal Council.
- Ward-wise Agenda Discussion: Members raised issues, development priorities, and proposals concerning their respective wards. They urged the President to expedite approvals for pending works.
President Vandana Chadda assured all members that equal development across wards would be ensured, with projects implemented on a priority basis according to budgetary provisions. The meeting concluded peacefully with consensus among members.
