In a spirited tribute to India’s Iron Man, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, a “Run for Unity” marathon was organized in Palampur as part of the nationwide celebrations marking his 150th birth anniversary. The event drew enthusiastic participation from citizens and leaders alike, honoring Patel’s legacy of national integration and visionary leadership.
The commemorative run was held under the parliamentary constituency and served as a platform to remember and pay homage to Sardar Patel’s enduring contributions. Known for his courage, tireless efforts, and foresight, Patel played a pivotal role in uniting the country post-independence. The event was graced by several prominent leaders, including Sulah MLA Shri Vipin Parmar, BJP candidate for Palampur Shri Trilok Kapoor, BJP District President Ragini Rakwal, former Jai Singhpur MLA Shri Ravinder Dhiman Ravi, and former Baijnath MLA Shri Mulkh Raj Premi. Kangra-Chamba MLA Dr. Rajeev Bhardwaj was also present, adding to the significance of the occasion.
