Bharmour MLA Dr. Janak Raj visits home of India’s first voter in Kalpa

Dr. Janak Raj, MLA from Bharmour constituency in Chamba district, shared that he visited the residence of late Shri Shyam Saran Negi in Kalpa, Kinnaur today. Shri Negi is remembered as the first voter of the world’s largest democracy.

On this occasion, Kalpa Gram Panchayat Pradhan Sarita Kumari, BJP Kinnaur District President Yashwant Negi, and Shri Negi’s son Chandra Prakash were also present.

The gathering paid tribute to the legacy of Shri Shyam Saran Negi, whose life and contribution symbolize the strength of India’s democratic spirit.
