In a commendable move to honor religious faith and the sentiments of devotees, the Meat Shop Union under Chaurasi Vyapar Mandal Bharmour has taken a significant step.

At a recently held meeting, the union decided that all chicken and meat shops located between the Old Bus Stand gate and the Chaurasi Temple complex gate would remove boards and promotional materials displaying chicken-related advertisements.

Union members emphasized that Bharmaur is a place of immense religious and historical importance, attracting large numbers of pilgrims and tourists daily. To ensure that no religious sentiments are hurt and the sanctity of the area is preserved, shopkeepers unanimously agreed to this decision.

Union in-charge Pawan Pathania, along with office bearers of the Chaurasi Vyapar Mandal, stated that traders are committed to maintaining a harmonious atmosphere in the region. They expressed gratitude to all shopkeepers for cooperating in implementing the resolution.

Local residents and devotees have welcomed the initiative, describing it as a positive step toward fostering social and religious harmony in Bharmour.
