A wave of grief swept through Bharmour on Friday following the sudden demise of Rajendra Sharma. As a mark of respect, the entire Bharmaur market remained closed on Saturday from 9 AM to 11 AM during his funeral rites.
The closure brought silence across the town as traders and local residents paid heartfelt tributes to Sharma. Members of the business community expressed deep condolences to the bereaved family, praying for peace to the departed soul and strength for the family in this hour of sorrow.
On the occasion, Bharmaur Vyapar Mandal President Ranjit Sharma and General Secretary Mahindra Patial, along with other office bearers, extended gratitude to all traders for their cooperation. They noted that the collective gesture of keeping the market closed was a true tribute to the departed.
Local traders and residents also remembered Rajendra Sharma’s social contributions, describing his passing as an irreparable loss to the community.
