DHARAMSHALA: The Abhilashi Educational Group-Mandi has said that 26 of its students have been selected by the prestigious multinational company McLeod’s Pharmaceuticals.
This momentous achievement comes as a result of a campus placement drive that saw final-year students from Abhilashi University, Abhilashi College of Pharmacy, Abhilashi PG Institute of Sciences and TR Abhilashi Memorial Institute of Engineering & Technology actively participate and showcase their skills, meeting industry standards.
After rigorous selection procedures, including written exams, group discussions and interviews, these students were chosen for roles in various domains within the company.
Expressing his delight, Dr RK Abhilashi, Chairman of Abhilashi Group, said, “It is a matter of immense pride for us that our students have been selected by a reputed company like McLeod’s. This achievement reflects their hard work, dedication and the quality education provided by our institution.”
Dr LK Abhilashi, Managing Director of Abhilashi Group, also shared his happiness, stating that the selected students are now ready to embark on their professional careers with McLeod’s, and the institution congratulates them for this remarkable accomplishment.
Dr Shampy Duggal, Director of Training and Placement at Abhilashi Group, provided further details about the placement. The selected students are from various courses, including BPharma from Abhilashi University, such as Ravi Thakur, Dikshit Saroach, Nivas Chhetri, Sahil Chhetri and Anshul Dhiman, and DPharma Alopathy candidates Nishant Thakur and Aditya Sharma. Abhilashi College of Pharmacy, BPharma students like Abhishek Sharma, Ankit Thakur, Ayush, Aman Nayak, Jitendra, Mohit Gupta, Manish, Ruchi, Rohit Dhiman, Rahul Sharma and Saksham have also been chosen.
Additionally, students from Abhilashi PG Institute of Sciences’ MSc-Chemistry subjects Rakesh Kumar, Ajay Kumar, and from TR Abhilashi Memorial Institute of Engineering & Technology, Diploma Electrical candidates like Piyush, Vijay Kumar, Sahil Verma, and ITI-Electrician students Yadavindra Sharma, Tulsi, and Ankush have also secured placements.
These students will take on roles in quality control, quality assurance, research & development, and production executive positions. The selected candidates have been offered annual packages ranging from ₹2 lakh to ₹3 lakh.
It’s worth noting that over 100 final-year students of Abhilashi Group had recently secured jobs with various reputed companies across the country through the campus placement drive.
