Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania Graces Cultural Star Night at Sihunta

Chamba – In a vibrant celebration of culture and tradition, Himachal Pradesh Vidhan Sabha Speaker Shri Kuldeep Singh Pathania attended the Star Night cultural event as the chief guest in Sihunta, a town in the Chuwari sub-division. The evening was organized by the Chhinj Mela Committee and witnessed enthusiastic participation from locals and dignitaries alike.

Addressing the gathering, Speaker Pathania emphasized the deep-rooted significance of the state’s folk traditions and cultural heritage. “Himachal Pradesh, often known as the land of gods and warriors, holds a rich tapestry of customs and folk arts that reflect the unity, brotherhood, and spirit of its people,” he said. He also highlighted how folk tunes and traditional dance forms continue to bind generations together, creating a shared cultural identity.

The Speaker appreciated the efforts of the event organizers, commending the Chhinj Mela Committee for keeping the region’s heritage alive through such vibrant platforms. The evening was enlivened by a variety of cultural performances, with local artists entertaining the audience through energetic dances and melodious musical presentations.

Among the distinguished attendees were Chela Krishan Chand, member of the Board of Directors of the State Forest Corporation; SDM Paras Aggarwal; DSP Yograj; DFO Rajneesh Mahajan; and Jal Shakti engineer Rakesh Thakur. Local representatives and a large number of residents were also present, making the event a grand success.

The Star Night at Sihunta not only celebrated cultural pride but also reinforced a collective sense of community and heritage that defines the spirit of Himachal Pradesh.
