Palampur: The Himalyan Kids Kingdom Preschool, Palampur, turned into a fairytale land of laughter, colours and creativity as the school hosted a vibrant red carpet fresher party for its newest little learners from nursery class. The event was a delightful celebration of innocence, talent and joyful beginnings.
The school auditorium came alive with decorations of colourful balloons, cheerful banners and giggling children. The event began with a traditional lamp lighting ceremony led by school director Anurag Gupta and Principal Sapna Dogra, setting an auspicious tone for the celebrations.
Anchored confidently by students Akshima, Nandani and Eshika, the programme featured an array of performances that showcased the children’s budding talents. The festivities opened with a serene gayatri mantra recitation by senior KG students Anvi, Kyra, Maanvi, Divyanshi, Shreya, Ishani and Prisha, creating a spiritual atmosphere.

Following this, senior KG-A students Jasleen, Daksh, Vaishnavi, Kavya, Aarav, Kartik, Manik, Aradhya and others welcomed the freshers with a heartwarming song and dance performance.
The event’s highlight was the fancy dress show and ramp walk, where students from nursery A and B stole the spotlight with colourful costumes and adorable recitations. Standout participants included Shanaya, Shivanshi, Avyaan, Shivansh, Manvik, Amayra, Smayra, Samika, Shaurya and Aashmi, who mesmerised the audience with their poetry.
Junior KG-A gave a high-energy dance performance to the song “Deewangi Deewangi”, with lively participation from Shavi, Shayra, Samaira, Ayanshi, Aarohi, Advik, Tanish, Aarav and Nityansh. The nursery groups also performed enthusiastic dance numbers, with children like Prisha, Niviksha, Atharv, Inaya, Himanshi, Ayana, Divyansh, Prashi and Dakshi lighting up the stage.
Junior KG-B students presented a touching group performance to “Jeevan Ke Din Chhote Sahi”, featuring Lakshika, Sherav, Neetik, Prikshit, Saanvi, Vedika, Vavya, Tanvi and Samaira. The ramp walk and rhymes by Vamika, Saanvi, Priyansh, Soham, Arit, Shivansh, Jasika, Shanaya, Vivaan, Harhit and Krishav added charm to the event.
Teacher Anu Sharma, serving as the event’s judge, evaluated the performances based on expressions, costumes, ramp walk and poem recitations and selected winners in various categories:
• Master Fresher Kids Kingdom: Vivaan (Nursery B)
• Miss Fresher: Aarohi (Nursery B)
• Best Rhymers: Prashiv (Nursery B), Ravya (Nursery A)
• Best Dancers: Riyansh (Nursery B), Aarohi (Nursery A)
• Best Fancy Dress: Nityansh and Amayra (Nursery A)
At the event’s conclusion, Director Anurag Gupta congratulated the teachers, parents and all students for their wonderful participation. He extended heartfelt thanks to all for their support in making the programme a memorable celebration of childhood and creativity.
