Born in the quaint hill town of Mandi, Inderjeet grew up surrounded by the sound of ragas and rhythms. His family’s rich musical heritage — rooted in the teachings of his grandfather Sh. Sat Singh Ji, founder of the Namdhari Vidyak Jatha (1965) — shaped his destiny early on.
That legacy runs deep. It was his grandfather who once organized Himachal’s first-ever Sangeet Sammelan in 1975 at Namdhari Dharamshala, where maestros like Ustad Amjad Ali Khan and Pt. Krishan Maharaj performed under the blessings of His Holiness Satguru Jagjeet Singh Ji.
Today, half a century later, Inderjeet carries that divine rhythm within him — not just as a singer, but as a torchbearer of Himachal’s musical soul on a national platform.
Rising Star on I-POPSTAR
Currently competing in I-POPSTAR — judged by music icons King, Parmish Verma, Aditya Rikhari, and Aastha Gill, and hosted by RJ Kisnaa — Inderjeet’s performances have drawn praise for their raw emotion and technical finesse. His effortless blend of Hindustani classical and modern pop has made him a fan favourite among both the judges and viewers.

The Making of a Music Maestro
A Gold Medalist in Music (Vocals) from Lovely Professional University, and a Master’s scholar at Punjab University, Inderjeet’s academic journey mirrors his artistic discipline. A trained vocalist in Hindustani Classical, he is also a skilled instrumentalist — playing the piano, guitar, tabla, harmonium, and even mastering the technical side of music as a mixing and mastering engineer.
His collaborations with leading labels like Sony Music, T-Series, and Zee Music have established him not only as a singer but also as a respected composer and producer. He has composed for both mainstream and independent artists and even produced soundscapes for films and digital content.
