A heartwarming Mother’s Day celebration marked the day at DAV Centenary Public School, where students, mothers and staff came together to honour the spirit of motherhood and the invaluable role mothers play in shaping society.
The event was celebrated with great enthusiasm and emotional fervour on the school campus. The programme aimed at recognising the unconditional love, sacrifices and dedication of mothers in nurturing and guiding their children.
The celebration was graced by chief guest Vandana Guleria, who was welcomed by Supervisory Head Seema Kapoor.
To make the occasion memorable, the school organised several interactive games, fun-filled activities and creative sessions involving mothers and their children. The vibrant atmosphere reflected the strong emotional bond shared between the students and their mothers, while cultural performances added colour and warmth to the event.
Addressing the gathering, Principal K S Guleria highlighted the importance of mothers in a child’s life and in the overall development of society.
“A mother is the primary architect of a child’s character. Her influence is the foundation upon which a successful society is built. Today, we celebrate not just a person, but the spirit of unconditional love that guides our students every day,” he said.
The programme concluded on an emotional and joyful note, with mothers expressing gratitude towards the school for organising a meaningful celebration dedicated to motherhood.
