The annual prize distribution ceremony at Maharishi Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School, Khatehar, Dharamshala, was celebrated with great enthusiasm and grandeur.
The event was graced by councillor Davinder Singh Jaggi as the chief guest. The school’s Principal, Arun Kumar Sharma, along with the management staff, extended a warm welcome to him. Dharamshala Mayor Neenu Sharma and Dharamshala block president Harbhajan were among other dignitaries present.
The ceremony commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and ‘Guru Vandana’, symbolising enlightenment and wisdom. The welcome song, a rendition of ‘Saraswati Vandana’, was performed by students of classes 8 and 9.
Students from nursery to class 12 presented vibrant cultural performances, showcasing their talent and creativity. The event featured a variety of colourful dances, songs and theatrical acts, earning applause from the audience.
The ceremony concluded with the distribution of prizes to students for their academic and extracurricular achievements.
