Kangana Ranaut lacks vision for Mandi, says Cong media coordinator Amrit Gill

MANDI: Congress national media coordinator Amrit Gill has raised concerns over the suitability of BJP candidate Kangana Ranaut for the Mandi parliamentary constituency.
Taking to mediapersons here on Sunday, Amrit pointed out that while Kangana allegedly lacked both educational qualifications and political acumen, she had yet to articulate a clear vision for the people of Mandi.
Her remarks came in the backdrop of escalating political discourse as the election season heats up. She accused the BJP candidate of engaging in “baseless rhetoric and diverting attention away from substantive issues facing the constituency”.
Comparing Kangana Ranaut to Congress contender Vikramaditya Singh, Amrit emphasised the latter’s stronger political and academic credentials, suggesting that he was “better equipped to represent the interests of Mandi people”.
Amrit also criticised BJP leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, for their disparaging remarks regarding the Congress’ poll manifesto. She argued that while the Congress manifesto “prioritised justice and guarantees for all segments of society”, the BJP’s response had been devoid of substance, resorting instead to unfounded criticisms.
