Dharamshala, a popular tourist destination nestled in the serene hills of the state, is set to broaden its adventure tourism offerings with the introduction of paragliding and paramotoring experiences. The move aims to attract adrenaline junkies seeking new thrills amidst breathtaking natural landscapes.
Tourists visiting Dharamshala will now have the opportunity to take flight and witness panoramic views of the town from above. The initiative, spearheaded by local authorities, will kick off at the bustling Dharamshala Zoravar stadium, where adventurers can take to the skies via paramotoring, complementing the existing paragliding scene.
Priced at Rs 2500 per person, the paramotoring experience promises an adrenaline-pumping adventure, allowing participants to soar through the clouds for approximately 10 minutes. Additionally, visitors can opt for hot air balloon rides at Rs 1500 per person, offering a leisurely yet enchanting aerial tour of Dharamshala’s scenic beauty.
With the launch scheduled within the coming days, Dharamshala anticipates an influx of tourists eager to partake in these thrilling activities. The initiative not only enhances the town’s appeal as an adventure sports destination but also contributes to its economic growth through tourism revenue.
