Shimla: The accused in the killing of a youth in Shimla on Monday was nabbed on Tuesday from Haryana’s Sirsa town.
The accused Satendra Pal is being brought to Shimla by the Himachal police.
Satendra is accused of attacking and killing 21-year-old Manish at 2 am on Monday.
Manish, hailing from Chaupal in Shimla, was taken to the hospital by the police. He died during treatment.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the deceased worked at a restaurant on Mall Road.
The assailant had broken into the restaurant to make the fatal assault. A blood covered Manish had managed to run till the police control room and to attract the attention of the police on duty he smashed the window pane with the weapon with which he was assaulted. The police seized the weapon used for the assault.
A report of murder was registered at Sadar police station.
