The National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of Government Senior Secondary School, Chauri, District Hamirpur, inaugurated its seven-day special camp on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, with great enthusiasm and energy. The camp will run from September 29 to October 5, 2026.
The inauguration was led by the school Principal, Mrs. Sarita Dubey, who addressed the NSS volunteers, highlighting the importance of service, discipline, cleanliness, social responsibility, and community participation. She encouraged students to actively engage in all camp activities.
The program was organized and coordinated by NSS Programme Officers Mr. Kulbhushan and Mrs. Meena Sharma. On the occasion, NSS volunteers presented a variety of cultural performances including songs, dances, and other artistic displays, which captivated the audience.
Prominent attendees included Mr. Kuldeep Kumar, Mr. Pawan Kumar, Mr. Ramnath, Mr. Sanjeev Katna, Mr. Dinesh Kumar, Mr. Sanjeev Kumar (DPE), Mr. Soni Kumar, Mrs. Rachna Soni, Mrs. Vandana, Mrs. Renu Sharma, Mrs. Bindu, and Mrs. Jasmeen, along with other teachers and staff members.
Throughout the camp, volunteers will participate in cleanliness drives, social awareness campaigns, community service, cultural programs, and creative activities. The aim is to instill values of service, leadership, discipline, cooperation, and social responsibility among students.
The inaugural day witnessed remarkable enthusiasm among the volunteers, who pledged to ensure active participation in all activities and make the seven-day camp a resounding success.
