Ground-level work underway to resolve public issues in Kangra villages

Chaudhary Narendra Nishu Mongra, District and State President of the Congress OBC Department and Chairman of the 20-Point Programme in Kangra, inspected ongoing cleaning and maintenance work in Zamanabad, Abdulapur, Pehga, and nearby villages. Local residents had reported difficulties in commuting due to clogged drains and overgrown bushes along village roads.
Mongra said the work was initiated promptly after villagers highlighted the issue, and instructions have been given to complete it at the earliest. He emphasized that the Congress government in Himachal Pradesh has fulfilled every promise made to the people and continues to do so.
Highlighting the government’s initiatives, Mongra noted that several schemes have been launched in Kangra constituency, ensuring that needy citizens benefit from essential services. He added that, following the directions of Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, he is personally visiting villages to assess ground-level problems related to water, electricity, roads, and drainage, ensuring timely solutions.
