As part of the Shri Manimahesh Yatra 2026, the revered Shiv Chelas from Sanchui village, descendants of Trilochan Mahadev, arrived today on the sacred land of Bhramour. Their arrival, in traditional attire and with age-old rituals, transformed the atmosphere into one of devotion and spirituality.

The Shiv Chelas were accorded a respectful and ceremonial welcome by the Secretary of Shri Manimahesh Nyas, the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (Civil) Bhramour, the Tehsildar, and Nyas members. They were honored with floral tributes, tilak, shawls, and traditional caps.

The Shiv Chelas of Sanchui are considered vital carriers of centuries-old religious traditions, folk faith, and cultural heritage. Their spiritual journey symbolizes penance, discipline, and unwavering devotion, enriching the sanctity of the Manimahesh Yatra.

Following their arrival, the Shiv Chelas will perform the ritual circumambulation of the historic Chaurasi Temples and reside there for two days, blessing devotees. On September 18, 2026, they will proceed to the sacred Manimahesh Dal Lake to perform the age-old ritual of ‘Dal Todne’ — a tradition that holds a special place in the spiritual and cultural legacy of the Yatra.

This journey of the Shiv Chelas is not merely a religious ceremony but a living embodiment of the region’s ancient beliefs, folk devotion, and rich cultural heritage.
