Nurpur: A special guest lecture was successfully organized at the Department of B.Voc. (Hospitality & Tourism Management), Government Arya College, Nurpur, with the support of EduBridge Learning Pvt. Ltd.
The keynote speaker was Sanjeev Kumar, HR Manager at Hotel Fortune Park Moksha (McLeodganj–Dharamshala, member of ITC Hotels Group). Drawing from his rich professional experience, he provided students with valuable insights into the hospitality industry’s current challenges, global career opportunities, modern safety protocols, risk management, and corporate reputation management.
Sanjeev Kumar encouraged students to develop practical skills aligned with the luxury hotel industry’s real requirements, enhance leadership qualities, and adopt a professional outlook to succeed internationally.
College Principal Dr. Anil Thakur highlighted that such lectures by experts from prestigious hotel groups serve as a bridge between theoretical knowledge and real-world practices, creating better employment opportunities for students.
Following the lecture, an interactive Q&A session was held where students asked questions on international career prospects, industry hiring trends, and corporate management. The HR Manager addressed their queries in detail, clearing doubts and motivating them for future opportunities.
The event was attended by Department Nodal Officer Prof. Manjeet Singh, vocational trainers Vijender Singh, Pankaj, Shammie Kumar, and a large number of students.
