CM Sukhu Inaugurates ₹333 Crore Development Projects in Chamba

Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu today inaugurated and laid foundation stones for 26 development projects worth ₹333.25 crore in the Chamba Assembly constituency.

The Chief Minister dedicated the newly constructed 200-bed building of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Government Medical College & Hospital, Chamba, built at a cost of ₹158 crore.

He also inaugurated several road projects, including:

  • Shahpur–Sihunta–Chuwari–Chamba road (₹14.11 crore)
  • Parel–Kohlari road (₹13.65 crore)
  • Parel–Chamba–Banikhet road (₹11.53 crore)
  • Luddu–Gharmaari road (₹6.85 crore)
  • Sarahan–Raan road (₹5.78 crore)
  • Bhanera–Devidehra–Rathiyar–Mankot road (₹5.68 crore)
  • Box girder bridge over Ravi river at Kariya–Bhariya–Kothi road (₹4.61 crore)

Foundation stones were laid for key projects including:

  • Vehicle parking facility at Bhagat, Chamba (Phase‑1) worth ₹25 crore
  • Village link roads at Drabla (₹12.59 crore), Sanohta (₹5.29 crore), Sach–Fatehpur (₹6.47 crore), Naanu (₹2.05 crore), Drada–Seru (₹4.24 crore), Ghargam (₹10.24 crore), Ghatred (₹6.05 crore), Chhanjoon (₹2.83 crore), Rundegha (₹2.63 crore), Basodhan (₹4.25 crore), Mangla–Ohli–Bhariya–Kapara–Zareen (₹4.09 crore), Mankot (₹6.53 crore), Chamba–Maluna–Kathna (₹5.96 crore), Rajera–Baili (₹6.58 crore), and Kariya–Baili (₹4.49 crore).

Additionally, the CM laid the foundation stone for a District Drug Store and Vaccination Depot at the Leprosy Hospital complex in Sarol, to be built at a cost of ₹3.72 crore.
