Example of Honesty: Bharmour Vendor Returns Lost jewellery Set to Elderly Woman

Setting an inspiring example of honesty, Nek Chand Thakur, a vegetable vendor and member of the 84 Vyapar Mandal Bharmour, safely returned a lost kitty set to its rightful owner, an elderly woman from Hadsar Panchayat.

According to reports, the woman’s kitty set had fallen near the gate of the historic Chaurasi Temple in Bharmour, where it was found by Nek Chand. He kept it secure and began searching for the real owner. After proper identification, he handed it back to the woman in the presence of trade union officials and fellow vendors.

Present at the occasion were Mahinder Patyal (President), Manoj Thakur (Vice President), Rajesh Sharma, and other traders. The woman and her family expressed heartfelt gratitude, praising Nek Chand’s integrity.

Trade union president Mahinder Patyal said Nek Chand’s act is a source of inspiration for society, proving that honesty strengthens trust and humanity. He added that the union is proud of such a member who rose above greed to uphold values of truthfulness.
