On the occasion of the 27th anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas, a solemn tribute ceremony was organized in Kandwal, Nurpur Tehsil. The event was attended by Nurpur MLA Ranbir Singh Nikka and Kangra MP Rajiv Bhardwaj, along with retired soldiers and distinguished citizens of the region.
MP Rajiv Bhardwaj, while recalling the bravery of the martyrs, said that during the Kargil War, the courage and sacrifice of Indian soldiers forced the Pakistani army to bow down. He emphasized that Kargil Vijay holds immense significance for the nation and continues to inspire generations with tales of valor.
MLA Ranbir Singh Nikka, along with retired army officers present at the ceremony, paid heartfelt homage to the martyrs. They urged the youth to draw inspiration from these heroes who sacrificed everything for the honor of the nation, and to step forward in the service of the country.
The gathering stood as a reminder of the supreme sacrifices made by the Kargil martyrs and the enduring legacy of their courage.
