Deputy Commissioner Mukesh Repswal has announced that a special beauty contest, Miss Minjar Queen, will be organized during the International Minjar Fair 2026.
The contest will take place in three stages from July 31 to August 2:
- First Round: Traditional Himachali attire
- Second Round: National attire
- Final Round: Question–Answer session
Online auditions began on July 21, while offline auditions will be held on July 22 at Government Degree College, Chamba. A registration fee of ₹200 has been set, and girls aged 15 to 25 years are eligible to participate.
🏆 Prizes:
- First Winner: ₹51,000
- Second Winner: ₹31,000
- Third Winner: ₹21,000
Repswal emphasized that the Minjar Fair is a symbol of Chamba’s cultural identity, and such events provide local talent with a platform to showcase their abilities while promoting heritage and tourism at the national level. He urged eligible young women of the district to participate enthusiastically.
