A cloudburst in Kalah Nallah of Holi, Bharmour Assembly constituency, triggered panic on Monday as the water level rose suddenly. Three workers engaged near the stream were trapped in the middle due to the strong current.
According to locals, the water level surged rapidly after the cloudburst, creating chaos in the area. Nearby residents rushed to the spot and kept a close watch on the workers’ safety.
After some time, as the water level receded, all three workers managed to come out safely. No casualties or injuries have been reported, bringing relief to the local community.
The administration has urged people to avoid unnecessary movement or work near streams and rivers during the monsoon season, as sudden rises in water levels pose serious risks.
