Police arrested two individuals late Monday night for creating a drunken disturbance in Chaitdu Bazaar. According to Udham Singh Rajput, under Gaggal police station jurisdiction, Sunil Kumar and Om Dinesh were found abusing, fighting, and issuing threats of suicide and murder, thereby disturbing public peace.
Despite repeated attempts by family members and locals to calm them, their aggressive behavior continued. Considering the immediate threat to public order, police arrested both under Sections 126/170 of BNSS.
Following their arrest, the duo was taken for medical examination at CHC Tiyara, where doctors confirmed they were under the influence of alcohol and behaving abnormally. They were later lodged in police custody, and a Kalendra was prepared to present them before the SDM Dharamshala.
Police Warning: Authorities have issued a stern warning that any form of hooliganism or anti-social behavior in the area will not be tolerated.
