A massive wave of devotion swept through the Kalka Mata Temple in Shamirpur today as thousands of devotees offered prayers during the annual fair. The temple premises echoed with chants of “Jai Mata Di” as families prayed for peace, prosperity, and well-being.
To facilitate devotees, Kalka Bus Service Shamirpur provided free transportation from Gaggal, Jamanabad, Tiara, Kangra, and Dehria, ensuring easy access for pilgrims from distant areas.
Temple priests Jivan Goswami, Ajay Mankotia, Deepak Mankotia, Keshav Mankotia, Rishi Dhiman, and Gurbachan Das informed that a grand bhandara (community feast) was organized for all visitors. Thousands of devotees partook in the sacred meal and received blessings in the form of prasada.
The fair witnessed vibrant participation, with the temple complex resonating with faith and festivity, reaffirming the deep spiritual bond of the community with Kalka Mata.
